Note: This picture is of the 400 X not the 400 GL.
When I first went to review the 400 GL Treadmill by ProForm I wasnt going to compare it to another machine. I then thought about it and realized that people might wonder what differences there are between the 400 GL and ProForms CX18i. At $800 the ProForm 400 GL Treadmill is on the higher end of ProForms treadmills and is only $100 less than the CX18i. So lets take a look at which one I like better and why.
The 400 GL Treadmill:

Many people are e-mailing me requests to review fitness equipment. One of the reasons is that there are so many choices; the prices are not all that different; and people dont know how to decide. I am reviewing ProForms CX18i Treadmill. I like the ProForm 840 a lot. The CX18i which sells for around $700 is less money than the 840. People have told me they like when I compare products. I will only compare two at a time since I think it is very confusing to compare more than two in one review. Since I like the 840 but it is a bit more expensive than the CX18i it is the 840 I will compare to the CX18i and we’ll see my rating.

ProForms 525 X Treadmill is the first treadmill I have reviewed that comes with dumbbells. This machine retails for $700 but if you look around you can find it for as low as $500. Please note: ProForm makes many versions of the 525 X including the ProForm CrossWalk Advanced 525x. The latter is a very different model with moving arms and iFit technology.
About the 525 X:
The 525 X is a space saving model meaning it folds. To fold the machine I pulled a pin out and the machine folded quite easily for a treadmill.

ProForms 350 Treadmill is at the lowest end in terms of the companys treadmills. At $400 it may be hard to believe you can buy a decent but very, very simple treadmill.
The Basics:
There are several important features about a treadmill that I will start off with.

Perhaps because the holidays will soon be upon us or perhaps it is just the simple factor of cost but I have been inundated with requests to review machines by ProForm, a company owned by ICON. It is hard to keep up with the changing numbers on the models so I hope my reviews will help you decipher some differences For the purpose of making my reviews a bit easier to follow I will at times compare machines. I will be comparing the ProForm 840 treadmill to the ProForm CS17e. For starters the 840 is a couple of hundred dollars less coming in at around $850. Please note that due to the nature of the reviews some information will be overlapping.
The Reebok C3500 Treadmill (Also seen as 3500 C) is a newer machine. After reviewing the Reebok 900 Elliptical which a few people had problems with I was curious to see other machines in Reeboks line. I found it in a facility where I could spend as much time with it as I wanted. I want to make it clear that you will never find me reviewing machines from the floor of Sports Authority.
General Information::
I have gotten very familiar with Life Fitness Cardio equipment. I know Life Fitness workout machines quite well because many gyms in which I have been have machines by Life Fitness. My current gym has some older Life Fitness cardio equipment. However the fitness room in my moms condo was moved into a large space and new equipment was bought. In addition I worked out at L.A. Fitness which has Life Fitness Cardio equipment. Finally we were on a cruise that had a large fitness room whose cardio equipment was exclusively made by Life Fitness. Life Fitness groups their products into those for the home and those for commercial use. The first three I am reviewing are in my moms condo and are considered home equipment. They are super-high quality as I have found most equipment by Life Fitness to be. For a price tag of $4500 I would expect the T7-O Treadmill to be superb.
