Bowflex: 5 Series Versus 7 Series Treadmill - Bowflex 5 Series Treadmill

Basic Information:

I’ve been asked to compare the three machines in the Bowflex treadmill series. To make this easy to understand I will compare the 5 series with the 7 series. I will then compare the 3 series to the 5 and hopefully you will be able to make an informed decision.

Bowflex is owned by Nautilus, Inc. The retail price of the 7 is $1,999. The retail price of the 5 is $1,800 but you can get it for several hundred dollars less. The 7 is selling for about $1500; the 5 for about $1200.

You want me to Climb off the Bowflex 5300 to change the resistance? - Bowflex Treadclimber TC5300

I have reviewed the first 3 models in the line of TreadClimbers by Bowflex. I am now reviewing the newer TC5300 which will run you about $500 more than the TC5000 which was the top of the line. The TC5300 is one under the current top of the line.

Bowflex makes Treadmills - Bowflex Treadmill Series 7

Bowflex doesn’t just make bow machines. They make other equipment such as the Bowflex 7-Series Treadmill. Bowflex is owned by Nautilus, Inc. The retail price is $1,999.

Basic Information:

I am going to call this machine the 7 for the sake of ease of reading.

It weighs about 185 pounds. This is very light for a treadmill of this caliber. It can be folded. I did fold this machine because Bowflex claims that it has what they call a SoftDrop technology. I agree that this works. After I folded it I just pushed on it a little and the deck went gliding to the floor softly. I’ve never seen this.

Beefing up with the big Bowflex 12% Incline! - Bowflex Treadmill Series 7

Getting a new piece of exercise equipment means different things for different people. One of the most popular goals, promises or perhaps New Year resolutions is to get in shape. As a retired personal trainer, my recommendation is to get a piece of equipment you will actually plan on using. One piece of equipment other than weights that I highly recommend is a good treadmill. The BOWFLEX 7 Series Folding Treadmill is manufactured by Nautilus (www.nautilius.com). While this review will not be all inclusive it will cover the major areas of the BOWFLEX 7 that I feel are important as it relates to making an informed purchasing decision.

What I think of the top of the line Bowflex TreadClimber TC6000 - Bowflex Treadclimber TC6000

The TreadClimber 6000 is the last in my series of TreadClimber reviews – that is until they come up with yet another model number. I was sure this one was the one.

About TreadClimbers

Bowflex’s TreadClimbers combines three different cardio machines (cadio-vascular refers to heart and lungs) in one. They simulate the movements of a stair climber, an elliptical machine and a treadmill. They feel like I’m stepping forward as I would on a treadmill, stepping up like a stair climber and with low impact like an elliptical.
