When I first went to review the 400 GL Treadmill by ProForm I wasn’t going to compare it to another machine. I then thought about it and realized that people might wonder what differences there are between the 400 GL and ProForm’s CX18i. At $800 the ProForm 400 GL Treadmill is on the higher end of ProForm’s treadmills and is only $100 less than the CX18i. So let’s take a look at which one I like better and why.
The 400 GL Treadmill:
When I decided to invest in a home gym, I knew that I had to get an elliptical. Great workout that I actually enjoyed doing. Unfortunately, there are no deals on elliptical cross trainers out there. The low end models are poorly made and do not feel comfortable. I was going to get an entry level Precor or Life Fitness, but my wife didn’t like the feeling of either. I agreed with her. We decided to pay more to get a gym quality machine because we knew that it would get used.
I pondered whether to put this machine here or add a new listing. At a camping resort in which we stayed there was a fitness room. Although the 9100 Treadmill by LifeFitness is an older model it is still for sale thus the review. You will only be able to buy this machine remanufactured unless you happen upon it on eBay. So here it is!

ProForm Crosswalk Caliber Elite Treadmill is one of the many treadmills in the Crosswalk series put out by ProForm. I am not going to compare the Caliber to any other model. However I share your frustration with the many changing models as well as those sold under different names to some retail stores. ProForm’s 525 X Treadmill is the first treadmill I have reviewed that comes with dumbbells. This machine retails for $700 but if you look around you can find it for as low as $500. Please note: ProForm makes many versions of the 525 X including the ProForm CrossWalk Advanced 525x. The latter is a very different model with moving arms and iFit technology.
About the 525 X:
The 525 X is a space saving model meaning it folds. To fold the machine I pulled a pin out and the machine folded quite easily for a treadmill.
