I have been doing various kinds of workouts for the last 15 years. Step classes, kick boxing, treadmill, stepper, and weights. When my Gym first got the Precor, I couldn’t wait to try it. I instantly fell in love with it…and so did everyone else. There soon were people running to get on it as soon as someone got off.
We moved farther away from my gym and I got tired of video tapes. I had purchased an elliptical from sears, knowing that there was no comparison, but I tried to be happy with it. Finally gave it away and spent the money and bought what I really wanted.
If I want a difficult workout or a more relaxed workout, you can program it to whatever mood you are in. More resistance works my legs out great, and I don’t have to spend time doing leg exercises. Its so quiet, I can work out and still hear what my kids are doing, unlike the treadmill. I also find that if I don’t hang on to the handlebars, it really gives your core a workout also. I noticed my stomach muscles more defined and lower back and sides toned also.
I have owned my Precor for a year and 3 months, and I don’t use it everyday, but 3 times a week, and I can honestly say I still love it.
