ProForm Crosswalk Caliber Elite Treadmill is one of the many treadmills in the Crosswalk series put out by ProForm. I am not going to compare the Caliber to any other model. However I share your frustration with the many changing models as well as those sold under different names to some retail stores. If you have any questions about a machine I will attempt to answer it. If youd like me to compare two machines just send me an e-mail and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

I was researching for a long time before we purchased this treadmill. I not only did a lot of info gathering online, but went to some local fitness shops to run on the treadmills myself. I am someone (female) who has always been an athlete and done a fair amount of running, but at this stage - with kids - wanted a treadmill for a lot of fast walking, hills and some running. I also have bad knees and needed a treadmill that wouldn’t be too jarring on them.

Many people are e-mailing me requests to review fitness equipment. One of the reasons is that there are so many choices; the prices are not all that different; and people dont know how to decide. I am reviewing ProForms CX18i Treadmill. I like the ProForm 840 a lot. The CX18i which sells for around $700 is less money than the 840. People have told me they like when I compare products. I will only compare two at a time since I think it is very confusing to compare more than two in one review. Since I like the 840 but it is a bit more expensive than the CX18i it is the 840 I will compare to the CX18i and we’ll see my rating.

I decided on purchasing an elliptical because I was having many problems with my feet (bone and heel spurs). According to my podiatrist these conditions were aggravated by walking and running on my treadmill and outdoors. Consequently the factor, which was the most important, was how the elliptical would impact my feet. What I found while shopping was that the Precor was the only one that did not require that my heel lifted from the pedal during the exercise. This is extremely important to prevent future foot problems and injuries.

Several weeks ago, I was walking down the sidewalk of a strip mall with a friend, heading to a dress store to do some shopping. We were idly chatting, as friends do. And, out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that we were passing by a business that had lots of fitness equipment. At first, I thought it might have been a small, local gym. But, I stopped and turned around to check it out and discovered that it was actually a shop that sold fitness equipment.

Let me first put the following review into perspective: I am a workout die hard.
I have been physically active all my adult life, devoting a lot of my time and energy in my younger days to physically demanding and joint crunching sports such as wrestling and Judo. I got into weight training at 20 and have been maintaining a routine of 4 workouts at the minimum a week for more than twenty years. Those who have read my hotel reviews will know that I even work out during business and pleasure trips all over the world.

ProForms 525 X Treadmill is the first treadmill I have reviewed that comes with dumbbells. This machine retails for $700 but if you look around you can find it for as low as $500. Please note: ProForm makes many versions of the 525 X including the ProForm CrossWalk Advanced 525x. The latter is a very different model with moving arms and iFit technology.
About the 525 X:
The 525 X is a space saving model meaning it folds. To fold the machine I pulled a pin out and the machine folded quite easily for a treadmill.

I am very impressed with this treadmill. I searched all over the Internet to find a perfect treadmill for my standards. I love to run and hate to do it outside. I’ve had it for about 2 months and have run on it at least 3 times per week (sometimes more) and I run it for at least 45 minutes at a time. My husband also uses it at least 3 times per week, not running as fast or as long, but still puts the miles on it.

Basic Information:
Ive been asked to compare the three machines in the Bowflex treadmill series. To make this easy to understand I reviewed the 7 Series. I then compared the 5 series with the 7 series. I will now compare the 3 series to the 5 series and hopefully you will be able to make an informed decision.
Bowflex is owned by Nautilus, Inc. The retail price of the 3 is about $1200 but you can get it for around $1,000. The retail price of the 5 is $1,800 but you can get it for several hundred dollars less as well. Still the 3 will save you several hundreds of dollars.

I reviewed the F80 Treadmill by Sole. A reader saw the F83 but not the F80 and wondered if there were enough differences to justify spending a few hundred more dollars on the F83. Here is my review and my recommendation. I will be comparing the two models.
The basics:
The first difference is the price. Though there isnt a huge amount between the two the F83 will run you about $1800. The F80 will run you around $1500. $300 is $300 and to many this means a lot.
