I was wanting to get back into exercising on my treadmill. How often should I go on it and what mode should I use? Like should I go by calories, distance, time and for how long? Any suggestions would be great.
As long as its daily and you sweat, and it’s on an incline, you’re doing good. You should feel the burn as they say.
Two to Three miles on an incline treadmil is a very good workout, regardless of speed, although the fastest you can handle is the best.

i work out and i eat healthy but how long should i stay on the treadmill for?
they say you need to excercise at least 20 minutes at a reasonable level, and so presuming you do some warm up, it seems you want to be on it 25 minutes minimum. Of course, the level at which you are exercising comes into play…you need to watch your heart rate.

please help me in choosing a treadmill:
no. of users:4
our weight: 70, 83, 95, 72
i want to know the what hp of motor should i buy?
i need Indian s experiences. coz ther s difference in normal electricity line
If you are going to plug it in a regular 110V outlet with a 15 amp breaker that will be your limit, some of the club type treadmills need a 220 V outlet with a plug in like an electric stove or a dryer.

Treadmill ,balance?
I just bought a treadmill and work out at home and i was wondering how come when i get off after a workout i am off balance? does this happen to everyone. heartrate is normal but a little unbalnced when i step off treadmill.
ur not unbalanced, but u are use to the motion of treadmilling. After running on the same spot for some time ur brain gets use to it and when u get off, if feel’s like ur still on the treadmill cept ur feet arent moving…just walk it off and itll be gone within a minute.

Ok i really wanan work out on my treadmill but its so damn boring!!!!!, I cant hear the tv over the treadmill, music dosent really keep me motivated! what should i do!?
Take an ipod with happy music or music that talks about determination .Try thinking of something happy: youre getting runners high, your making your skin better, your losing inches possibly a few pounds. You don’t even have to stay on for a hour (unless you feel like it.Just try a few minutes and mix them up each day.Good for you keep up with it it’sworth it.

I use a treadmill to get my exercise in for the day. My question is: Are there any little things I can do WHILE on the treadmill to get maximum or double the results? For instance, someone suggested using a little Tai-Bo moves to get my upper working. Will this work, is there anything else, or should I just stick to the powerwalking alone?

I just bought a treadmill, I have the Nike I-pod shoe kit and when I run outside I can do a 7:50 mile [I’m not a great runner] but when I ran on the treadmill my I-pod said I ran .50 miles in 11 min I was exhausted does the I-pod chip work on a treadmill??
also do you have to oil a brand new electric treadmill?? If so what’s a good oil?
It could be a problem with the calibration. Try this
Find a track or route where you know the exact distance (If you’re a long-distance runner, it should be no less than a mile).
