I just purchased a 9.15hr power folding treadmill and it will definitely be the last purchase from this company. The product itself is ok, it is as advertised. It is an expensive unit. Where this product fails miserably is in its customer service. I paid extra to have this product delivered into my home and assembled. The delivery guys showed up at a time other than was scheduled and began their song and dance that they are not required to assemble the product and that I should just drag the individual pieces to where I want to set it up myself. The unit is over 250lbs. I called Smooth to try to correct the issue and was told that there was a mix up and they would try to corect it. Two days later still no return call. I have made several calls trying to talk to someone and no luck.I still have a huge box in my living room just waiting. It is a shame that they provide a good product but just completely fail to take care of a customer that is willing to drop $1,700 on an unproven company and an unproven product. If you need an average treadmill you might want to look into companies like nordic track or proform. They may not have a better product. They will be cheaper in price. But more importantly they do take care of there customers and that is the reason why you recognize their names. A company like Smooth will self destruct. Save your money and go with a major brand and let Smooth re-learn that the customer drives their company.
